Artist Research.
Christoffer Relander!
I have chosen to do my Artist Research page on Christoffer Relander.
I really love the way he creates his artwork. The reasons I really like his art-work because its different and original, creative and no one has done artwork like that. For this image he has used a black and white colour.
To make this photo, he took a portait photo of a girl, and in the background he has used trees and he has made it fit the girl. But he has done it so you can still see the girls face and at the same time you can still see the faint trees in the background.
I really enjoy looking at Christoffer's artwork.
His work is normally to do with nature and outdoors.
As he adds so much detail into his work it makes you really look at all the detail in the portrait.
The angle of the light is mainly focused on the girls face, and the rest of the body is much darker. The pictures he takes of people is never from far away he normally takes the photo of the people he uses close up.

BlommersSchumm inspired Portrait.
This is my inspired Bloomers Schumm Inspired Portrait work, I am a little bit happy with this.
To improve next time i would take a photo straight on photo to make it easier for my self as i found this quite tricky as this photo of me is angled. I would smooth out the edges on my eyes so then they make my eyes look more natural.

Erin Case - Artist Research.
This lesson we researched the photography artist Erin Case. She takes portrait photos of people and takes away parts of their body and fills it in with Landscapes of things in the gaps. Here is some of Erin's work. I really love the way she does her artwork, its unusual and imaginative and original.
In the first image that i have inserted, the woman's head fades so the landscape is in the the head and you can see the rest of the body clearly.
Erin mixes up the part of the body which she puts the landscape in. The lighting is either in the photo itself or its in the landscape photo. In all of her work she uses portrait photos. The pictures are mainly women. The locations for the landscapes are normally near the beach.

Final Landscape Stitch.
This is my final landscape stitch for this project. I got inspiration from David Hockney.
I added my full body stitch into my work and i also experimented with blend modes. As i kept adding more things to my landscape stitch i grew to like it more. I could improve on putting more colours and layers into my landscape stitch.
The things i thought i did well are blending the photos together, also adding my full body stitch into the final landscape stitch.

Overall i am really happy with the outcome.
